In this Living Team National Go for Growth segment, Team National President & CEO Angela Loehr Chrysler talks about the book,  The Simple Abundance Journal of Gratitude by Sarah Ban Breathnach. This simply is a journal where you write down what you are grateful for on a daily basis.  The author goes on to explain why having gratitude is so important. Breathnach says, “Gratitude is the most passionate, transformative force.”

Angela says,” You may encounter those days that you don’t actually feel gratitude, i.e. when you’re paying bills, stressed about something going on at work, or perhaps children issues. Finding gratitude in those days is where I’ve seen some of the greatest blessings in my life. When my dad was fighting cancer and passed away from it, it was a very difficult time for me both personally and professionally. I found that gratitude is what really got me through those times, being grateful for the time I did get to spend with him and all of those lessons I learned, the things we got a chance to do and of course, all of the memories.”

Having gratitude every day can make a really difference in your life. Watch this video in its entirety to get more valuable nuggets from this book.

THANK YOU Taking care of my elder parents at times is overwhelming. My mother has Alzheimer’s. Your words of wisdom on gratitude, the example you constantly set of being positive and meeting other great positive people through Team National has helped me more than words can explain. On days went I am almost at my breaking point, I think of being greatful for the times I did have with my mom and so many other things. Life is a battle sometimes, we all need to help each other. I am greatful for all you do. Thanks again.
